PODCASTING

Recently I was tired of running over the same CDs of English text books, so I finally decided to try some radio courses.
(Actually I don't like radio courses because I often lose out on the airtime but I thought that the cheap price was well worth it.

I brushed dust off from my radio equipped with a flash lamp because it's for emergencies.

And I bought some batteries and text books of the courses for this month.
(Right now I realized that the emergency radio(and flash lamp) would be completely useless in an emergency with no batteries!)

And set the alarm on my watch but for some reason the channel wasn't receivable.

I can tell you the emergency radio has a poor antenna.

So I gave up.

One day I read about "podcasting".
The article said you can download tremendous amount of radio programs in the mp3 format and enjoy them on your computer or ipod(mp3 player).

It sounds great for me because I can't miss the broadcast time and I can repeat the download program if I like it.

I worked very hard to understand the podcast website and to install some software.

I believe that we tend to be good at those things we like and I am a big Hard rock fan. I downloaded "Metal-HardRock cast".

I was able to catch the words "Ozzy Osbourne","Dream Theater","Deep Purple" etc. but I was afraid it didn't make sense to me completely.

After a while I got it.

DREAM THEATER

I am learning English in Japan.
Today I decided to keep a journal in English!
Actually, I have never been able to keep all things like diary even in Japanese, so it's a great challenge for me.

If I talk about my job, I'll always complaine, whine or talk big. (I know it's too moody.)
Thus I mainly write my favorite thngs that make me happy, "Entertainments".

I took this blog title from the song on the album of my favorite (progressive) heavy metal band, DREAM THEATER.

Phew, it took me an awful long time just to write this, but I will be able to write something better, longer and more interesting.
