Fun music in the style of Metal

My favorite site was updated after a gap of 5 years.
This site is written in Japanese, but it would make sense to listen to the mp3 files in it if you like Heavy Metal music.

http://www.tanoshi-ongaku-metal.com/
(http://www.tanoshi-ongaku-metal.com/soundroom2006.html --- There are links to the mp3 files on this page.)

The site performer says "This site brings the tunes which we were singing in our elementary or junior high school programs, with Metal style guitar sounds.

"My Grandfather's Clock", "Green Sleeves", Bizet's Serenade, "Chim Chim Cheree", "Romance", "Funiculi Funicula",etc... All tunes are terribly nostalgic for me!
Moreover they compel Heavy metal maniacs like me to grin.

I think they are too jolly, so regardless of your kind of music, if you try to listen to them I bet you will smile.

RESTART

I haven't been getting much exercise for a long time, so I thought I had to do some phisical activity.
I quit taking tap dance class the summer before last because I pulled and injured the arch of a foot. After that I was interested in taking a drum class.

Today, Sunday, there is no drum lesson, so I was looking for a tap dance class on the Internet in the morning and found a good one (which starts at noon) near the terminal station.
I looked around for my tap shoes like hell and dashed to the studio.
The instructor was so generous and considerate. He has 3rd level classes on Sundays and they are open classes.
I practiced tap dance after a long interval but enjoyed the class.
I decided to attend the class next week too.

UDON

Finally, I had the friends, with whom I got acquainted through a MEGADETH fan site on the Internet some years ago, over to my house.
We love MEGADETH and also have a common trait that is loving carbs. Today, we had a plan to make something with wheat flour.
We had been interested in making UDON, so decided to try to make Udon.
Udon is a a typical and traditional Japanese noodle, along with buckwheat noodles, made of all-purpose flour, salt and water.
It is very simple but good and Udon is very chewy and tasty. We can buy both types of Udon, rehydratable or raw, at nearby stores, however freshly made is the best.

First, We mixed flour, adding salted water little by little. Because of the small quantity of water, the ball of flour was tough, but when the flour was forming into a ball, we put it in a thick plastic bag.
We trod on the dough in the plastic bag for half an hour by taking turns while playing an MTV video.
After 2 hours of waiting with GIGANTOUR DVD, we rolled out the dough into a tenth of an inch thickness, folded it and cut it into long sticks along the side.

Then we boiled them for 7 to 8 minutes, and soon ate them with only soy sauce and some relish(finely-chopped raw cibol and grated raw ginger).

Perfect! It tasted perfectly good.
We were very pleased with our work and promised to hold the second "carb" party at some later date.
The MEGADETH members can't believe that people who met via an Internet fan site held a noodle making party.

Indeed one of them brought the dough and made a pizza and cookies.
I forgot to take pictures of the pizza. It's a shame! The pizza and cookies were also very good.
While she was baking cookies, the others washed the dishes and kitchen utensils, which really helped me out after the party. How marvelous lady friends are!
