My favorite video game

The Japanese game maker ATLUS opened their USA website. http://www.atlus.com/

Their SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI series are my most favorite video games. I prefer this series to even the Final Fantasy series, so I want to introduce this series to all the people who love Roll Playing games. The series have a lot of titles in the Japanese version. I played "Devil Summoner Soul Hackers(Play Station)", "Persona 2 Crime" and its "Punishment"(PS), "Shin Megami Tensei 3 NOCTURNE"(Play Staition2), "NOCTURNE MANIACS"(PS2), "Degital Devil Saga"(PS2), and "DDS2"(PS2). (I think "NOCTURNE" in the USA version is "NOCTURNE MANIACS" in JAPAN, because Dante doesn't appear in "NOCTURNE" in the Japanese version. Dante, the hero of Capcon's "DEVIL MAY CRY", is a special guest in this game.)

The theme of the Shin Megami Tensei series is dark and grotesque, cynical and humorous. I can say the main characters and most demons are very cute, but some demons are disgusting and the demons mutated from humans sometimes eat humans in the stories. (Hence it has a minimum age requirement.)

In most of the series the heros threaten, grease the target's palm, or bait a hook with demons. They make a companion of demons and fight other demons in the mutated world. You can combine two or three demons, which you have caught, into a stronger, new one. It must fire up your collector's spirit to get into the imaginary scene.
